4-H Congress Brings 1145 Youth To National Event
The 29th National 4-H Club Congress drew 1,145 farm boys and girls from 48 states plus Alaska Hawaii Puerto Rico and 11 foreign countries to Chicago for five days last November. Delegates included 235 leaders and over 150 national winners. Scholarships totaling 36800 were awarded to 124 college scholars during the congress.
