In Caledonia Minnesota a dental student Matt Styer killed Pearl Wheaton fatally wounded her sister Ruth and their mother then shot himself. The 10 year old child escaped through a window. Ruth Wheaton fought back before the onslaught. Styer died at 9 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs Wheaton and Ruth Wheaton were gravely wounded but hoped to recover.
