Plymouth county Work Activity Center announces a county-wide fund drive of 100000 starting February 28 to expand facilities for 34 handicapped adults served. The drive aims to add space as only a quarter of Plymouth’s disabled receive services, with Arie J. Bomgaars and Ron Elkin named chairmen. call 568-2729 to contribute.

Dalton of Reno Nevada recently finished the command and general staff officer course nonresident resident at the U S Army Command and General Staff College Ft Leavenworth Kansas The program prepares officers for high level roles Dalton attended the University of South Dakota Vermillion earning a D S degree in 1954 and an M A in 1957 He and his wife Kathleen reside at 2198 Royal Drive Reno His parents are Mr and Mrs Joseph E Dalton of Akron Ohio.
Residents hosted a Valentine Appreciation Coffee for volunteers with punch coffee and cookies. Guests included Marel Bennett Minnie Johnson Lizzie Tindall and many visiting families and friends from Akron Westfield Sioux City and Remsen.
