Local residents share Sunday visits at Akron Hospital and with relatives, including Cecil Harrington. Westfield clubs sponsor an Amateur Show at Westfield High School on March 15, with entries due March 18. Various meetings and devotions noted, plus a reminiscence of the 1873 Blizzard in Sioux City area.
About 100 relatives and friends attended a Sunday open house at Union Creek Lutheran Church to honor Mr. and Mrs. Martin E. Johnson on their 50th wedding anniversary. Rev. David Roy led a program with scripture prayers a talk two solos by Larry Johnson and a reading of Golden Wedding.
Guests from Canby Marietta Minn Hudson Alcester 8 D Mitford Hawarden and Akron gathered to honor Mrs Larry Johnson at a luncheon.
