In Le Mars Mr and Mrs Alan Kellen announce a son Jessie James born Feb. 5 1977 at Floyd Valley hospital. He has a sister Denise 18 months old. Mrs Kellen is formerly Carla Beech of Akron. Grandparents Mrs Norma Beech of Akron and Harriett Kellen of Le Mars. Great grandmother Mrs Elsie Stotz of Akron.

Vernice Blum of Bronson Jerome Blum of Moville Roscoe Small Le Mars and Ina Blum of Sioux City called at the Grace Small home last Monday afternoon. Clayton Small of Sibley and Mrs Grace Small hosted weekend visitors.

Akron artist Kenneth Ludwig will participate in Arts ’77 Clothesline sale at Western Mall in Sioux Falls on Saturday and Sunday February 12 and 13. The event by the Women’s Art Guild, auxiliary of the Sioux Falls Civic Fine Arts association, runs 10 a.m. Saturday and 12 noon Sunday to 5 p.m. Exhibitors showcase varied works and demonstrate techniques. others may still enter by February 10.

Doris Webb and Gregory Cornish married recently at Burkemont Baptist Church in Morganton North Carolina. The couple now resides in Annishton Alabama where she works as an operating room technician in the U S Army at Fort McClellan and he is an eye specialist at the same base.
