Shaft for Cherry Victims Memorial Unveiled in Bloomington

A granite shaft memorial 14 feet high was unveiled in Bloomington to honor 256 men and boys killed in the Cherry Mine disaster. 20 survivors spoke as labor leaders and state miners officers attended.
