Suicide by nude fall from Masonic Temple in Chicago

Harry Evans of Bay City Michigan, standing near a cigar case, was hit by a falling man during a suicide from the nineteenth floor of the Masonic Temple. J W Greek of El Paso Texas undressed on the beam, leaped, and died on the rotunda floor. Evans and A R Starr were injured. Greek had been sick and is believed temporarily demented after months of work for a railroad.

Wild Train Deaths In Carbondale Yard Disaster

A runaway freight train in the Carbondale yard of the Delaware and Hudson company killed two foreigners and injured five others, with two more expected to die. The wreck sparked a fire consuming five locomotives and the machine shops. Two bodies were recovered from the debris. The victims were foreign workers around the roundhouse.

Des Moines officials report the liability commission will wait on the U S Supreme Court ruling on the federal liability law before setting a firm Iowa policy.
