Farm blaze destroys barn and gear on Thomas farm

Fire on the Frank Thomas farm southeast of town gutted a barn and crib, farm machinery, 2,000 feet of new lumber, harness, and eight good horses. A. H. S. basketball team went 0-4 at Canton with a 53 to 20 loss. A. R. Whitney won several first prizes with homing pigeons at a Sioux Falls poultry show.
