Chatsworth residents enjoy picnics and dinners with relatives from Alcester Hawarden Akron and Sioux City. The Chatsworth ladies softball team played Merrill and Jefferson losing 9 to 10 in the season finale. Obdtuany Harley Small dies after long illness in Iowa

Obdtuany Harley D Small 79 of 3700 Floyd Blvd Sioux City died last Friday at home after a long illness. Funeral services were held 1 30 p m Tuesday August 3 at Wesley United Methodist Church with burial at Riverside Cemetery Akron Iowa. He was born September 13 1892 in Pierre South Dakota and married Kula Mills January 17 1913. He worked as a machinist for Sioux Tools from 1945 to 1962 and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and AFLCIO Machinist Local 1427. Survivors include his wife three sons three daughters two brothers one sister 17 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren.

The six month total reaches $261 391, achieving 65 percent of the 1971 quota. A newly hatched robin is expected to eat about 14 inches of worm per day.
