Complain of Harmonics in Short Wave Bands

Interference from harmonics of program broadcasting stations has alarmed amateurs. K B Warner of the American Radio Relay League says the harm s are widespread around New York, hindering long distance work on 50 meter bands. Washington women accused of book society scheme arrest

A group of prominent Washington women allege they were victimized by Joseph Rheinstrom who posed as an agent for the Society Women of America. Police say Rheinstrom collected large sums for listing names in a rumored book and he was arrested after an investigation.
