Mrs Jack Tindall and family attend Adaville Easter program while neighbors join cantatas and suppers. Spelling winners named in Sioux township. farm Bureau plans and church improvements noted along with local visits, illnesses, and community events through spring.
Lucile Briggs reports the marriage of her friend Alice Kaspari to an engineer from Morro Castle. Kaspari, formerly a Sioux City stenographer, traveled to New York to join her fiancé who was critically ill after the disaster. Pleasant Hill News reports visits from Elmer Klemme family Robt Brundeen and sons and Mrs Robt Anderson to LeMars last Friday. Ed Johnson family were Sioux City visitors last Wednesday. Pleasant Hill school dismissed last Tuesday afternoon while teacher Miss Marjorie Holmquist attended her cousin's funeral in Centerville South Dakota. Various families spent weekends visiting relatives in Akron Elk Point Vermillion Bruce Me. and Mrs Leonard Carlson and others.

Numerous visits and dinners are noted among local families including the Ericsons, Westins, Hultgrens, Bodens, and Sykes, plus an Easter party at West Union school hosted by Mabel Anderson and the Y. C. L. group.
