Miss Winifred Kroksh returns from Rochester Minnesota where her father recovers from operations at the hospital. Various visits and gatherings fill the week with church events, club meetings, entertainments, and plans for bake sales and community activities across Westfield and nearby towns.
Postal workers faced disruptions last week as routes were missed and delays spread. Lauretta Hoffman, infant daughter of Elmer and Mrs Hoff man, died of pneumonia April 20 with funeral in Adaville. Neighbors extend sympathy to the Hoff man family. Sunnyside Juniors hosted a banquet for the Seniors at the Mulheron home despite rain. Will Merger and Elsie Pavlik plan Sioux City wedding this week with Howard Milner and party. reception at Pavlik home to follow.
