Plymouth County Tax Contracts Put Under Scrutiny
A petition filed in district court challenges three contracts between Plymouth County officials and LB Crowley for property discovery and tax collection. The plaintiff, a Plymouth County resident and taxpayer, seeks an injunction to halt payments and warrants, arguing the agreements exceed legal authority and were made by a majority of officials no longer in office. The case, set for hearing April 18, alleges illegal compensation terms and improper contract continuation.
