House aims to outlaw video poker after referendum

House Speaker David Wilkins said anti poker lawmakers will move quickly if voters reject video poker in the November 2 referendum. He forecast a January vote to kill video poker outright and send the bill to the Senate, with swift action to counter potential lawsuits. Senate delays previously blocked efforts to outlaw the games.
