Second woman charged in January shooting incident
A second Aiken woman Chantrell Coleman, 19, was charged with four counts of accessory after the fact to a felony in the January 12 shooting at Paces Run Apartment Complex. Abree Tiesha East, 22, was charged February 8 with four counts each of accessory before the fact to attempted murder and armed robbery plus grand larceny.

North Augusta Chamber Growthfest set for Oct 17 at city center
The North Augusta Chamber hosts Growthfest on Tuesday Oct 17 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the North Augusta Municipal Center with 74 exhibitor booths and a headshot lounge. Attendees can network in the Connections Lounge and hear two minute employer pitches, plus 90 second elevator pitches with feedback. Booths cost 175 for members and 250 for non members. Connections Lounge fees are 25 for employers and 20 for employees. Space is limited and registration is through EventBrite or the chamber.
