Gloverville Man Charged With Child Abuse
North Augusta police arrest 27 year old David E. Mikell of Carline Road on one count of child abuse after witnesses say he repeatedly struck a 3 year old in the head with a closed fist. The case stems from a dentist office call at 460 West Martintown Road reporting possible abuse. The charge carries up to 10 years. Mikell was booked at North Augusta Public Safety Headquarters.
