A Swiss man opened fire with an assault rifle during a parliamentary session on Thursday, triggering an explosion. At least 14 people were killed and sixteen injured, including eight lawmakers and Hanspeter User, head of Zug government, who is in critical condition.

The county interim administrator says applications will be reviewed as they come in and interviews set quickly. An EMS crew at the station supports Bridgestone Firestone facility area. The plan, agreed Sept 18, gives the station and equipment to aid any county fire department on request, under the fire chief’s command. The council previously split over creating a county firefighting operation versus a single station for one volunteer department.
