Escapee remains at large after weekend prison break
Charlie Howard Wood, 32, of Aiken, escaped from an Aiken courtroom Saturday evening en route to transport. A daylong search extended from Langley to Pine Log and Russell Hills before being called off at 1:30 am. Wood, described as six feet tall, 220 pounds, wearing blue pants and a Stone Cold Steve Austin T shirt, remains at large.
