Lawsuit Claims North Augusta Officer Shot Man During Multi County Chase
The complaint alleges North Augusta Public Safety Officer Justin Craven fired at least five times at Satterwhite during a pursuit that crossed from North Augusta into Edgefield County ending at Satterwhite’s Rose Road home in Trenton. It says Satterwhite had no weapon and that officers failed to provide lifesaving aid. The suit targets Edgefield County, North Augusta, and police policies on multi county pursuits, seeking damages and a jury trial. Craven had been indicted by an Edgefield County grand jury on official misconduct.
