Surgeon Sues Patient Over Botched Surgery Posts
In Boston a cosmetic surgeon Dr. Joe Feldman filed a defamation suit against Lucille Iacovelli after she posted Internet photos claiming a botched procedure and called him a butcher. Iacovelli, a Massachusetts General Hospital patient, said she went public to warn others and defend her concerns. The case led to a court order in May requiring her to remove misleading images and to stop contacting Feldman and the other two surgeons.
