Los Angeles clinic tied to fake tests on poor children
A task force probes Paramount Medical Center for recruiting children from housing projects in south central Los Angeles Long Beach and Compton to serve as fake patients. Children received up to 10 dollars for exams including gynecological checks, with billings to Medi Cal. Dr Candace Chang named as main target. about 125 daily patients noted in warrants and records. No arrests reported as the investigation continues.
