Teacher Griffis Named 2011 Teacher of the Year at Hammond Hill
Ayen Griffis will not attend today’s ceremony at Hammond Hill as she attends a professional development workshop. After 14 years in the classroom she and five other teachers were honored as 2011 Honor Council members. Grants and gifts accompanied the recognition, including a $1000 technology grant to Sarah Emerling and a new laptop from Savannah River Nuclear Solutions.
