Man charged with kidnapping in Aiken domestic assault
Larry Wayne Griffin, 41, of Victoria Drive, was charged with kidnapping and first degree domestic violence after a September 9 assault on a 35 year old woman on Victoria Drive. Deputies say Griffin choked the victim with an extension cord and beat her, then fled. he remained in custody at the Aiken County detention center.
