The Thoroughbreds trounced Lake City 35 0 as two Panther punt miscues in the second quarter sparked a two touchdown lead. Tommy Morone scored three times with stout defense from Ryan Gallagher and Leonard Glover setting the tone. The win improves South Aiken to 2 2 and sets up a big conference test versus Strom Thurmond next week.
Barnwell used a 27-13 win at War Eagle Stadium despite Wagener Salley forcing turnovers in the first half. A fumble on the opening kickoff and a 25 yard pick six by Dwayne Williamson gave Barnwell an early lead.
