Wife of U S Rep Jim Clyburn dies in South Carolina
Emily Clyburn, wife of House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, died in Columbia at age 60 after decades of supporting education and scholarships. The couple married for nearly six decades and were known for fundraising for endowments and need based scholarships. A memorial service will be held at Brookland Baptist Church West Columbia with arrangements noted by Rep Clyburn’s office.
