Sex offender charged with new sex crime in Windsor
Eric Paul Jones, 38, of Cable Crossing Road, Windsor, is charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct and held without bond. A former Army sergeant and convicted sex offender, he allegedly touched a female victim inappropriately while she spent the night at his home in late August. He has prior charges from 2005 including sodomy of a minor and indecent liberties with a person under 15.

Midland Valley chorus invited to perform in Washington
Midland Valley High School chorus director Vanessa Cox is leading 95 singers to a National Memorial Day Choral Festival in Washington D C in May 2013 representing South Carolina. They will visit Arlington Cemetery and the Jefferson Memorial with a special wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and perform at the Kennedy Center, Smithsonian, and veterans facilities with fundraisers aimed at covering an $886 cost per student.
