The International Cat Association sponsors a two day feline competition at Riverview Park Activities Center. The Cat Championship and Household Pet Show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 30 p.m. with admission 5 for adults 3 for seniors and children and free for under four.
The Aiken Republican Club will host a luncheon at Newberry Hall on Monday featuring members of the Aiken County Legislative Delegation. Speakers include Greg Ryberg Shane Massey Roland Smith Jim Stewart Don Smith and Tom Young Jr. They will discuss state issues. Social time starts 11:30 a.m. with lunch at noon. Members $15 nonmembers $20 at the door.
