Fire damages Aiken Elementary Bell Tower in lightning strike
Aiken Elementary School faced a Saturday night fire caused by a lightning strike on a bell tower. Seven fire engines and 33 public safety officers fought the blaze for about an hour, with the other tower spared. Repair cost estimates were to be released today.
