Otis Elevator to Create 360 Jobs in Florence Plant
South Carolina faces rising unemployment with an 11.1 percent August rate tied for fourth worst nationally. Otis Elevator will open a $40 million Florence plant creating 360 jobs over five years, averaging $25 per hour, with a 150 foot test tower.
