Cliff House Reopens After 18 Million Makeover
The Cliff House in San Francisco reopened after an 18 million renovation that added a curving modern wing and preserved the 1909 neo classical core. The project, funded mostly by owners Dan and Mary Hountains with National Park Service support, restored insulation, plumbing, and access while preserving heritage and offering new views of the Pacific and Golden Gate.
