Kiwanis Club Hosts Creepy Demonstration At USC Aiken Center
Bugs and a snake surprised attendees at an Aiken Kiwanis meeting as Dr. Jeff Priest showcased hands on learning at USC Aiken Ruth Patrick Science Education Center. The center serves 58,000 students from 18 counties in SC and GA through cooperative efforts with schools business and the university. In a separate case the Aiken Department of Public Safety seeks information after an assault near Silver Bluff and Pine Log roads. A 35 year old woman woke on a dirt road near Palmetto Golf Course after leaving Depot store. She was treated at a hospital and released. Investigators are focusing on the victim’s car and ask for tips at 647 7620.
