Deputy on funeral duty chases stolen truck suspects
An Aiken County deputy on funeral duty spotted a stolen pickup on the Aiken Augusta Highway Tuesday afternoon. The two suspects Tank J. Thomas and Nathaniel Wright fled on foot. Thomas was captured after a brief chase and Wright was apprehended shortly after. An all terrain vehicle was recovered from the truck, which had been stolen minutes earlier from Georgetown, Savannah, and the suspects are held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
