David Clyde: Texas High School Pitching Phenomenon
David Clyde, an 18 year old left handed pitcher from Westchester High in Houston, emerged as the nation's top high school pitcher. The Texas Rangers signed him to a pro contract around 100000 dollars after a stellar run that included nine no hitters and a 46 6 record. He built his craft learning from his semi pro pitcher father and first baseman.
