Filing opens tomorrow and closes two weeks later at noon September 30. Republicans file with Col. L. W. Warner, Democrats with John Harte Jr. A county chair letter confirms the vacancy and timetable.
The Aiken Campus of the University of South Carolina reports 1 079 enrolled undergrads, a 30 percent rise from last year as it launches a three year program and contemplates a future four year status pending USC trustees and state approval.
