Airliner missing since Sunday found in Andes. survivors reported

In Santiago, Chile, a domestic airliner missing since Sunday was spotted in a remote Andes area with many survivors among the 200 aboard. An air force plane could not confirm survivor numbers but noted fires and signs of life. Twelve of the 20 aboard were children returning from Porto Montt. A plan to air drop aid and evacuate survivors was announced, with overland rescue teams also deployed.
