Boy Scout Troop 351 memorialized Tanner Lewis a 17 year old Eagle Scout with a dual tribute building Tanner's Cabin at Knox Scout Reservation and a barbecue pit for Langley Pentecostal Holiness Church. The 2013 Easter death followed a brief illness. Lewis joined Troop 351 in 2001 and inspired younger scouts through leadership and service.

A Beech Island man reported Friday that a window was broken not far from CCC Road, but nothing else was missing. Aiken area incidents include a missing car on Roquies Street and gas theft on Montmorenci Road. Two fires sparked on Powell Pond Road. one in a yard near a power line. hay burned later that night. A mailbox theft was reported on Powell Pond Road.
