The 39th annual Aiken s Makin festival opens Friday in downtown Aiken with 170 craft vendors and 40 percent new to this year s show. Food stations offer items like ice cream and gyros as park area crowds enjoy a 9 a m to 6 p m Friday and 9 a m to 5 p m Saturday schedule.
