Aiken County sheriff's deputy shot and killed a large brown dog that charged him while responding to a domestic call on Taylor Pond Road. The dog owner said the animal was protecting him and that the dispute was verbal, with no injuries to the pair.

Burglary reports include Camash Circle Beech Island and Thomas Park Road North Augusta with electronics and money missing. An unsecured door at a Talatha Church Road church was secured with no disturbance found. Aiken man reports a flat tire on Red Tip Lane.
