Strom Thurmond seeks title as area football season heats up
Strom Thurmond sits 2-0 after a 24-0 win over Chapin and a 49-12 victory at Ridge Spring Monetta. QB Javon Brown leads with 502 total yards and three TDs, backed by strong receivers and a bruising back Maurice Brown. Williston Elko and Aiken contend, while South Aiken’s defense keeps games close. The Sept 26 clash with Silver Bluff could shape an early state title path.
