Public Television Kids Lineup Sees Return of Mister Rogers and Sesame Street

Mister Rogers Neighborhood returns for an eighth season with host Fred Rogers and a monthly Around the Neighborhood newspaper. Zoom enters a third season with new ZOOMers and updated outfits while Sesame Street begins its fifth year in November with continued emphasis on Spanish language content and offices nationwide. The Electric Company returns for a third year with safer reading material and plans for an Electric Company magazine. Carrascalendas and another Spanish speaking program are in the works for stations serving large Spanish speaking communities.
