Homeowner burns mortgage in Habitat for Humanity milestone
Helen Prysock, who received a Habitat for Humanity home on Greenville Street 19 years ago, burned her mortgage note to celebrate the achievement. The event marked the eighth Habitat home in Aiken County with past builders and St. John’s United Methodist Church present to honor the occasion.
