Driver in Saturday four-car wreck impaired in Aiken
Aiken Department of Public Safety says 21 year old Dustin Munoz of Fairway Ridge Road will be charged with felony DUI after a four vehicle collision at the Silver Bluff Road and Hitchcock Parkway intersection Saturday. Munoz and another driver were taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center with serious injuries. Munoz showed intoxication and was sedated after police observed violent behavior. blood and urine samples were collected. The 5:54 p.m. crash closed the roads until about 8:15 p.m. and followed another DUI-related crash nearby earlier in the week.

Man accused of syringe use in Walmart bathroom
An Aiken man allegedly injected himself with an unknown substance in a Walmart restroom on Whiskey Road. Officers found two syringes in a cigarette box. one syringe held a milky colored liquid. He was trespassed from Walmart. tests will determine if warrants follow for a controlled substance.
