Burial Mount of Olives Cemetery. Survived by daughter Frances Rodgers son Bruce Bush stepson Bill Brantley stepdaughter Joan Degeronimo five grandchildren five great grandchildren. A.C. Museum starts new docent training session
The Aiken County Historical Museum launches its 1997 Docent Training Session on Monday. Interested individuals may sign up by calling 842-2015. The four Mondays start at 10 a.m. and mix lectures with demonstrations. New docents may greet visitors or lead school tours. Sixty four docents are currently involved. both active and inactive docents are invited.

Police blotter reports attempted carjacking in Aiken
Aiken Department of Public Safety investigates an attempted carjacking Sunday at about 6 40 p m near Whiskey Road and Silver Bluff Road. A woman driving a 1996 Cadillac sped away after a man exited a rival vehicle. no plate number available. Auto thefts include a 1985 BMW 825SE taken from Gwinnett Street and a 1988 burgundy Pontiac 6000 stolen on Fairfield Street with an accomplice present.
