Aiken Man Dies After Gooseneck Road Roll Over
Eddie Dean Williams, 55, died from multiple injuries after his 1990 Ford Bronco rolled over on Gooseneck Road in Aiken near Poplar Road. He was ejected, not wearing a seat belt, and pronounced dead at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. The crash is under investigation with toxicology pending.

Atlantic Broadband unveiled its VoIP phone service in Aiken County joining Comcast in North Augusta as the only providers in the area offering a triple play bundle. The package includes unlimited calling, video, and 6 Mbps Internet for 99.95 a month first year, rising to about 120 thereafter. Existing customers can add phone with a similar promotional price. Service expands to several towns in 2008 with broader rollout planned.
