Colombian soldiers kill at least 25 suspected rebels in three operations
In central Colombia near Chita and Cocorna, authorities say soldiers killed 25 rebels and ELN fighters while 50 suspects were captured in Medellin and surrounding towns. One ELN member linked to Ana Cecilia Duque's murder was among the dead. Six paramilitary fighters fell near Sucre, with no soldier casualties reported.
