Couple Renovate Old Aiken House Into Modern Family Home
Barbara and C Wes Smith transformed a circa 1918 house at Hayne and Abbeville into a comfortable modern home. They added a sunroom and garage, rewired and insulated, opened two bedrooms for a master suite, and preserved Hitchcock ceilings and original window mouldings. The project reflected their fanfare for old houses with contemporary convenience.
