Upcoming events include the Aiken Area Myelination MS Self Help Group meeting September 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Barbara Goettsch as guest speaker and refreshments provided. Also Mended Hearts Chapter 294 hosts its 10th anniversary golf tournament September 17 at 9:30 a.m. at the Reserve Club Woodside, proceeds support heart projects in Aiken. The Nancy Carson Library hosts a book discussion and sing along September 18 at 7 p.m. featuring Lt Col Bill A Heaton discussing his book Once There Was an America. Midday Music Concert Series opens September 20 at noon at First Presbyterian Church Columbia with organist Bi McNair.
