Jackie Lewis Cothran 68 died Saturday September 3 2016 in Aiken South Carolina after a brief illness. He was born in Greenville and was a longtime veteran of the construction industry. He is survived by his wife and two children. Funeral arrangements are pending.
Memorial services for John Arthur Willem 86 of Belvedere SC will be held Monday at 11 AM in Posey Funeral Chapel with Rev John Meyer officiating. A private interment will follow. He served as a US Air Force Staff Sergeant in Korea and retired in 1995 from FMC/BAE's Aiken Plant. He attended Belvedere First Baptist Church and is survived by his wife Gail and several family members. Memorials may be sent to Belvedere First Baptist Forward in Faith Fund or the Good News Network.

Marie Davis Snipes of Ridge Spring South Carolina died September 2 2016 at 75. She was wife of Chester Snipes Jr mother of Gail Donna and Regina and grandmother to three. A longtime Unity Holiness Church secretary treasurer and ordained minister she will be laid to rest September 4 2016 at Holsenback Family Cemetery after a 3 PM service at Unity Holiness Church in Aiken. Napier Funeral Home in charge.
Robert Lee Ryan Sr. of 1928 Alan Ave Aiken South Carolina died at his residence on Tuesday August 30 2016. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday September 6 2016 at Second Baptist Church with viewing prior. Burial follows at Jessamine Memorial Gardens. He was the son of Henry Press and Beatrice Chinn Ryan and a 1964 Martha Schofield High School graduate. He retired from Westinghouse SRS and was a devoted member of American Legion Post 212. He leaves four children Rachel Ryan Robert Ryan Jr Rico Ryan and Reginald Ryan eight grandchildren and two sisters Betty Mims and Annie Louise Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Henry Press Ryan. Visitation with the family is Monday 6 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home. Relatives may visit his sister Betty Mims at 969 Old Granitev ill e Rd or call Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home in Aiken at 803-649-6123 Monday 3 PM to 8 PM.
