Hunger Awareness Walk for Golden Harvest Saturday
The Golden Harvest Food Bank hosts its fourth annual Hunger Awareness Walk this Saturday at the H Odell Weeks Activities Center track from 9 to 11 a.m. Rusty Marsh says about 500 walkers have joined already and preregistration or on site registration start at 8 a.m. Mayor Fred Cavanaugh will kick off the event at 9 a.m. with walkers then released onto the track to spotlight hunger issues.
