Woman dies after train strikes car near Columbia
A woman died and her passenger was injured Sunday afternoon when their vehicle was struck by a train at an intersection near state Highway 555 north of the Interstate crossing in northeast Richland County Columbia. The crossing has no gate or barriers. The injured woman was hospitalized in poor condition. Names of the victims were not released by authorities.
